Destroy the tethers the same way, place the beacon on the asteroid, and return to the ship before oxygen runs out. To reach the outer tethers, make a zero-G jump to the asteroid, and quickly run to the outside half before the heavy bars swing across the inner asteroid. If you are out of stasis, either head back to the recharge, or use an automatic weapon such as the pulse gun. To disable a tether, use stasis to slow down the device, and shoot the exposed core. There are four tethers - two on the inside and two on the outside hull. Stasis is not technically required, but it will make it easier to remove the gravity tether. The mining bay is preceded by a stasis recharge, which you should use. However, you will need to get the power box from the elevator, and bring it to the other side during this, there will be additional leapers that approach. The initial room has poor visibility, with enemies hiding behind the smoke screen.įirst, you will need to head left - you can use the store and bench here to upgrade as desired. In this deck, you will send out the call for help. After the lift returns, you can reach the extraction deck. The return trip will be mostly the same, but you're additionally attacked but Lurkers. Enter the maintenance storage room, collect the Level 4 suit schematic and SOS beacon. When the door opens, Nicole will mention finding another way to catch up with you. Necromorphs will drop from the ceiling on her side, and it will eventually be followed by those attacking you directly. In the final room, Nicole will work to unlock the door for the SOS beacon. The end of the lift will let you see Nicole, who will help you in the next room to retrieve the SOS beacon. During the transport, you will be attacked by pods on the left and right, which are easily killed by a plasma cutter. Use the Kinesis module to pull it towards yourself, and activate it to reach the other side. The Maintenance deck contains the SOS beacon.Īside from a few enemies, there's nothing much here. The only threat is returning to the elevator, where a necromorph will drop from the ceiling while passing through the antechamber. In the following corridor, the power drops for a few seconds, but you're otherwise not in danger. Head to the control room on the opposite side, and get the key card and power node in the room. If you have a spare power cell, you could open the door next to the gravity control, but the reward is only a marginal gold superconductor. If possible, aim for the exploders when they're near other necromorphs. When all boulders are removed, you can head to the control station to reactivate gravity.Īctivating gravity will trigger a large wave of Necromorphs approaching from two directions. While you're doing so, you need to defend yourself from a few Lurkers and Leapers, but only in a small quantity. As you are informed over the radio, you need to move some boulders into the gravity beam. Your objective is the control room, but it is currently blocked.
